Lorianne Schaus

Lorianne Schaus is an accomplished performer, choreographer, dance

instructor and adjudicator. Growing up in a family of dancers, it was no

surprise that she would follow in their footsteps. Lorianne has been a

competitive and recreational dance instructor of all disciplines for more than

two decades. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for dance with her students.

Ms. Schaus has had the privilege to be on staff and a guest instructor for

numerous studios across southern Ontario. Lorianne has trained across

North America with many master teachers in all dance forms. She believes

that education is important and attends workshops every year to expand her

knowledge of dance. Ms. Schaus’ students have gone on to become overall

winners, dance instructors and professional performers. She has adjudicated

across Canada and loves to share her knowledge with the dancers in her

critiques. Lorianne is a certified member of the International Academy of

Dance Adjudicators. She has had the privilege of working with multiple

competitions over the years in all aspects from announcer, tabulator to

adjudicator. Her recent credits include “Grease”(Cha Cha/Dance Captain),

“Anne of Green Gables”(Prissy Andrews), “Oliver” (Chorus/Dancer), “Hello

Dolly” (Dance Captain), and “The Sound of Music”, “White Christmas”, Singing

in the Rain” (Choreographer). Ms. Schaus loves to see the joy in her students

as they grow and improve from year to year. She also shares her passion for

the arts with her own children Jackson and Jillian. When not at the studio she

works in Health Care and Supportive Housing. Lorianne is ecstatic to be

joining the Star PA Team this year and looking forward to meeting all the

dancers !
